Describe the keys, ring, jewelry or other metal item, what it looks like, when it went missing and the general area where it was last seen. Do not publish a home address, contact details or identifying documents.

Connect with signed-in SSL members to help locate keys, rings and other jewelry, an existing time capsule, a survey marker or another metal item. Requesters control when their listing appears and can withdraw it.

Share known clues about an existing capsule’s material and general search area. This tool is for assistance requests; it is not a capsule registry or a kit shop.
Existing survey / property markers
A detector search does not establish property boundaries or replace a licensed surveyor. Do not touch or move markers or buried utilities. This is not an emergency or utility-locating service.
How member requests work
- Sign in and save a private draft with an approximate town/area and map position.
- Add an optional item photo. Avoid addresses, people, identifying details and private-location clues.
- Acknowledge land-access permission and deliberately publish to signed-in members.
- Nearby members can offer help inside SSL. Replies stay private between the requester and each helper.
- Edit, withdraw, close, reopen or delete your request. Closed or withdrawn requests disappear from nearby listings.
Map positions are rounded to a coarse grid before storage. Distances are approximate, not directions to a precise site. Helpers are not represented as vetted, insured or guaranteed to be available; recovery is not guaranteed. Obtain landowner permission before searching.
